Why Yokohama
Yokohama is truly an international city with a long history of welcoming foreign visitors and businessmen to its port.
Yokohama is situated approximately 25 kilometers to the southwest of central Tokyo.
With a population of 3.6 million, it is the second largest city in Japan after Tokyo.
Because of its proximity to Tokyo, various economic and trade activities between the two cities are interlinked. As a result, people outside Japan probably see the two cities as one entity.
In practice, however, Yokohama has its own identity as a global city having a strong business environment and a rich cultural heritage. The city also has a strong economic base, especially in the shipping, biotechnology, and semiconductor industries. Yokohama enjoys pre eminent status as a leading international trade port in Japan.
Here are a few reasons why you should choose Yokohama as a business destination.
Yokohama: The choice of many top players
A survey was conducted to know why many companies have chosen Yokohama as their business destination.
