Candidate profile

	Have a minimum of 10 years of editorial experience in the field of academic publishing
	Should preferably have worked with an international journal reputed for its quality of scientific language and research
	Should preferably have acted as a peer reviewer or have been a part of an article/research review committee
	Should have in-depth/insider perspective on the role of language in academic publishing and on trends and practices in academic editing
	Ability to pass on this knowledge to editors through training programs/sessions
	Should be able to streamline/build training and quality systems to ensure that role objective is met

Here are the main responsibilities of the job:

	Be the one-point contact for all clients.
	Translate course application forms, and communicate course-related information to clients.
	Create and translate content for the website.
	Develop strategy and content for promotional offers periodically.
	Write and collate content for the i-osmosis newsletters.
	Collect, translate, and analyze client feedback on a monthly basis.
	Maintain and update the client database. Conduct ad-hoc analysis of clients.

Desired candidate profile:

	Excellent organizational skills
	Very proficient in Japanese-English and English-Japanese translation
