Talent in the English language and a strong academic background are prerequisites to become an editor in Cactus. Then, our intensive training programs help each editor discover and enhance his or her abilities. Since 2002, we have trained over 200 editors.

Basic Editor TrainingTM

Basic Editor Training (BET)TM is a three-week training program for all new editors. The extensive modules on article usage and the seemingly endless rules for using commas can be intimidating at first. Further, this training involves a considerable amount of unlearning of incorrect language habits that many of us have developed. But if you are passionate about the language and want to join a company that is committed to provide the best English editing service, you will enjoy BET.

Advanced training

Editors in our three subject-area teams receive training at regular intervals. Our advanced training includes modules and practice sessions on grammar, style, and subject-related conventions. We also have training programs that qualify editors to take on larger roles within the sphere of editing.
