Publication support professionals serve as consultants, guiding authors at each stage of the publication process; they play 2 specific roles: Academic Journal Expert and Freelance Content Reviewer.
- An Academic Journal Expert shortlists 3 to 5 journals that are best suited for the manuscript, based on several client- and manuscript-specific factors.
- A Freelance Content Reviewer critically examines manuscripts (as in a peer review) to identify and comment on aspects such as relevance and significance of the research, adequacy of literature review, and clarity of results.
