At the 7th annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service, announced in Las Vegas on 25th Feb 2013, Kaori Nagatsuka from our Customer Delight Department won a Silver Stevie for Best Front-Line Customer Service Professional. Editage, the academic editing brand of CACTUS, won a Bronze Stevie for Best Use of Technology in Customer Service. (The Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service recognize exceptional companies, individuals, and teams.)
CACTUS was ranked 20th among the 600 companies that participated in the 2012 survey conducted by the Great Place to Work Institute®. With this ranking, CACTUS made it to the list of the Top 25 companies to work for in India for the second year in a row. CACTUS was also ranked 2nd in the Professional Services segment and 5th among companies with up to 1000 employees.
The academic editing brand of CACTUS, Editage, participated in the 55th Annual Council of Science Editors (CSE) meeting in Seattle, Washington (May 18-21, 2012) and won the “Best Poster” award for its research titled “Optimizing the output of a freelance editing model: Value added by an in-house reviewing team.”

The academic editing brand of CACTUS, Editage, received the “2011 Best Poster”" award for the poster entitled “Does having a non–English first language hinder competence in manuscript editing?” at the 54th Annual Council of Science Editors (CSE) meeting in Baltimore, Maryland.

Many CACTUS editors are BELS-certified professionals with extensive editorial expertise and the requisite qualifications. The Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS) examination is an internationally recognized certification exam that tests and evaluates editorial skills.
